- The Calamondin Orange Tree is a citrus hybrid cross between a mandarin orange and a kumquat native to south and southeast Asia. It is predominantly cultivated in The Philippines for its citrus juice and most commonly cultivated in the US as an ornamental plant
- It is a cold-hardy evergreen shrub that bears sour, golf ball sized orange fruit
Light
- Shade tolerant tree, although most productive when in full light
- Opt for bright, indirect light if growing indoors
Water
- Allow 1 inch of soil depth to dry before thoroughly water plant
Soil
- Give this tree plenty of room to spread out and establish a healthy root system
- Pot in a large container filled with 1 part each potting soil, organic compost, and perlite or vermiculite
