The Chinese Evergreen plant is one of the most durable houseplants to own. It is native to tropical and subtropical shaded floors of Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and The Philippines. It can be characterized by a crown of wide leaf blades, rather decorative leaves, often variegated with silver and green coloration.
The Chinese Evergreen plant is commonly mistaken for the Dieffenbachia, or Dumb Cane, but the Chinese Evergreen’s tendency to only have 5-8 lateral veins distinguishes it.
*All plants are sold in a nursery pot.
**Decorative pots are sold separately.
