The Pachira aquatica, also known as Guiana Chestnut, or Money Tree, was initially found growing in the swamps and wetlands of Central and South America. The tree originally became popular as a houseplant in Taiwan in the 1980s. They are recognized for their natural resilience. They are highly favored as decorative additions to commercial spaces.
