The Wandering Jew Plant is a species of creeping plant in the Tradescantia genus, native to Central / South America, parts of the Caribbean, naturalized in parts of Asia, Africa and Australia. These long, fleshy stems are densely covered with lance-shaped leaves about 2 in. long. Pinching and pruning is recommended in order to encourage branching and increase fullness.
All plants are sold in a nursery pot.

Keep soil slightly moist during your climate’s growing season, could be kept drier during the colder months
Be careful not to water directly into crown of the plant as it can cause rotting

Can be grown in regular houseplant potting soil with no additives
Can fertilize monthly with a half-strength liquid fertilizer as necessary

Sap within the leaves and stems can cause contact dermatitis on the skin depending on subject sensitivity
