Watermelon Plant | Peperomia Argyreia

The Watermelon Plant have become popular among houseplant lovers. Leaves have a shimmery appearance and adored for their radiance when they catch sunlight. 
They are native to South America and grow naturally in the rainforest.  They have, however, adapted well to indoor growing.

Light
Optimal to place in a space of medium to bright, indirect light, as leaves are prone to burning
Can survive in lower light conditions but the size of its leaves will shrink

Water
Important not to overwater or underwater this plant
Allow the top 1-2 inches of the plant to dry out, then water thoroughly

Soil
Performs well in most standard potting mixtures as long as the soil drains well but retain moisture
Avoid soil that is formulated for plants that can sustain a dryer potting mixture, like cacti and succulents

Toxicity
Considered non-toxic and safe around pets and humans
